GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This is the head sculpt I did for the Dr. Kyne character is the Dead Space Remake. Prior to working on the asset in Zbrush, a scan of the actor's face was captured. I wrapped 3D head mesh optimized for gameplay to the scan and cleaned it up in Maya. From there, the head mesh was imported to Zbrush were I projected the scan to capture the facial detail. Additional cleanup on the face is done, and missing anatomical details in the skull, neck, and torso are added. When the sculpt was completed the normal, displacement, and wrinkle map data were pulled from it.
